What Does “Rhema” Mean?
Rhema means the spoken Word of God — a living, personal word revealed by Him in a specific moment. While Scripture is the foundation of our faith, we believe God still speaks today. At Rhema Church, we believe that every time you gather with us, you will hear a word from God — a word that strengthens, directs, and encourages. Rhema is foundational to who we are. As a church, we hold on to a rhema — a Word from God — to carry us through each season and every year. We come with expectation, believing that when God speaks, lives are changed.
Our Rhema Word for the Year of 2026
As a church, we are stepping into 2026 with bold faith, holding onto a rhema — a spoken Word from God — declaring that this will be the year of Unexplainable Miracles. This will not be an ordinary year. God is going to move beyond human ability. Tears will turn into testimonies. Doors will open in every area of life that no one can logically explain. Wombs once closed will be opened by His power. Debts will be canceled, provision will appear without a visible source, and healing will come in ways doctors and science cannot fully explain. And our church will experience growth that cannot be credited to strategy, marketing, or human effort — but only to the mighty hand of God. In 2026, we believe God will do what logic cannot reason and words cannot fully describe and we open our hearts in faith to witness the miraculous.
